What can Investigators do?

Private Investigators are typically used to perform either real-time surveillance or online research. A real-time surveillance professional can help you get video and photos or other evidence of all kinds of activities (ex: following someone). A online researcher can help you find records (such as background checks, criminal records) or people.
Our investigators have helped people prove infidelity, prove cohabitation, uncover false online aliases, verify someone’s identity and information, find missing persons, locate witnesses, catch fraudsters, locate stolen property and items, conduct undercover investigations and more.
Investigators within the Fox Hound Pros network operate ethically and will not perform any actions that are illegal.

What is the difference between on-site and online research?

A case is considered “on-site” when it requires an investigator to be physically on site with the person of interest (P.O.I.). This is particularly true when video or photographic evidence needs to be obtained. Online research is done entirely through databases and other online resources, and can be conducted from any state or location. The result of a research case is typically an electronic report.

How long does a typical case take?

Based upon what type of case it is, this can vary. Typically most online cases can require 2-10 hours on average and surveillance cases normally require anywhere from 5-20+ hours.

Will anyone know I’m investigating them?

No, absolutely not. You enjoy the same confidentiality and discretion with your investigator that you do with your attorney.

How do investigators follow people without getting caught?

The simplest answer to that question is that our investigators are experienced and seasoned pros. Most of our investigators are former special-forces and high-level law enforcement individuals (such as former US Marshals, FBI, DEA and Police Officers), who have many years of successful surveillance experience.
It's important to note that regardless of how much experience and skill an investigator has, they’re not ghosts, and situations can develope that might lead to their presence being discovered. Our investigators take every precaution not to be detected and are experienced at avoiding detection.

Do you have investigators near me?

We are based in Tulsa, OK - however we currently have ongoing operations in most states across the country at any given time. We have a nationwide network of over 1,000 vetted and pre-qualified investigators our network is constantly growing.

Are all investigators licensed?

All investigators performing real-time observation are licensed professionals, with exception to the few states where there is not a licensing requirement. All investigators have to pass the rigorous Fox Hound Pros vetting process and have the required experience to be considered.

What additional fees can be expected besides the hourly rate?

From time to time some cases require additional reporting and database fees in order for the investigator to gather information that’s needed for your case. The cost of these fees vary and are largely dependent on the type of information that the investigator is searching for. Also, while Fox Hound Pros offers investigators nationwide, occasionally a surveillance case will require additional travel associated costs. In the event additional fees or travel-related costs are required, your investigator will inform you of the exact costs in advance and obtain your approval before they are incurred.

How often will I be updated by the Investigator and what if I need addtional help?
